What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CST allows our deepest fluid system to open: the Cerebral Spinal Fluid, which is interconnected with every level of our being, from the most subtle to the most dense.  CST is beneficial and supportive to almost every condition and imbalance specifically pertaining to the nervous system, or any condition related to restriction to the cranial sutures, or general contraction of the body’s systems. This includes: TMJD, Migraines, Joint Disorders, Depression and Anxiety, Insomnia, Issues related to birth trauma, work trauma or overuse injury, Autism Spectrum, Immune System conditions and more.  Though CST is very energetic, it is grounded in the anatomy and tissues of the body.

Tracey Palmer, LMT, discovered CranioSacral Therapy in 2005, when she took an Introductory Course from the Upledger Institute during a six-month seva residence at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Western Massachusets. She has since become a devoted student of hands-on body therapies, becoming Reiki attuned to the second degree and a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist.  She is currently teaching courses for massage, including CranioSacral Therapy at the Mildred-Elley Massage Program in NYC and is on course to complete the first level of certification in CST by end of 2014.
